Leonard Neufeldt, a retired literary and cultural historian in New England studies, was born and raised in Yarrow, BC,
and now lives just south of the border. His House of Emerson (University of Nebraska Press, 1982) received the Choice
"Best Academic Book" national award in 1983, and his Raspberrying (Black Moss Press, 1991) was a nominee for the
Gerald Lampert Award. Some three hundred of his poems have appeared in serials throughout Canada and the USA. His work has also
been published in Europe, the Far East and India. He is the author of six books of poetry.
